Episode 15: Finding Food and Body Freedom with Intuitive Eating and IFS.

So 2022 has begun, and the diet ads are in full swing!  But we're not falling for it, right?  Let's make food and body freedom the goal for 2022! 

What does food and body freedom mean?  It means no longer thinking about, caring, or working on shrinking yourself.  It means no longer hating your body--no matter what it's size.  And it means eating the foods you love with zero guilt.

Yes, that's all doable.  How?  With the help of Intuitive Eating and IFS (Internal Family Systems).  The combination of these approaches will free you from the toxicity of diet culture (yes, I promise).  

In today's podcast, we talk about how oppressive diet culture is.  Whether we realize it or not, it impacts multiple areas of our lives. Like our eating patterns, how we view food, and how we move/exercise.  It also impacts our wallet as well as our time and energy.  On top of all of that, it makes us feel terrible about ourselves and others.  

We're also talking about what food and body freedom looks like as well as how Intuitive Eating and IFS can get us there.
